PACIFIC NW TOUR

We left home on June 18th and headed North to Glacier National Park where we spent three days in the rain. Our grandson Ashton joined us for the first half of the trip.

We visited Nelson, BC to visit Rick's cousin, then headed South to Spokane and stayed with a friend on her 40 acre farm. She raises Doodles and Ashton fell in love with farm life and the puppy's.

Ashton fell in love with Ben, but couldn't convince his parents to adopt him.

After the farm we headed to Courtenay, BC on Vancouver Island to visit Virg's son.

Witnessed a spectacular sunset @ 10:30 PM



Ishan took us to the Canadian Air Force Museum


Sunday singing at the big Market Day in downtown Courtenay


We then picked up our granddaughter Izzy at the Seattle Airport and went to visit my sister on Whidby Island


Then is was off to the Oregon Coast



We visited the Tillamook Cheese Factory


Izzy and Grandma played a lot of card games


Our old stomping grounds at Carl Washburne OR State Park


Heceta Head Lighthouse fully restored.
We had worked here giving tours in 2011





Grandma took Izzy up the Rogue River on a Jet Boat






Our final stop at Hat Creek Rancheria RV Park

A big Wild fire had started just before we got there


We got evacuated much to Izzy's delight


Grandma took Izzy to our Nevada State Fair 





When we took Izzy back home to Utah Grandma took all the grand kids to the Aquarium 


We really enjoyed having the grand kids with us on this trip and look forward to doing it again in the future
